Terms of Service | Coldblock

1. Service description

Coldblock is an email filtering service that detects and quarantines AI-generated cold outreach emails from your Gmail inbox. By using Coldblock, you agree to these terms.

2. Account and access

To use Coldblock, you must sign in with a Google account and grant access to your Gmail. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. You may revoke access or delete your Coldblock account at any time from the Settings page.

3. Email processing

Coldblock reads incoming emails to classify them as legitimate or cold outreach. Emails classified as outreach are moved to a “Coldblock” label in your Gmail — they are not deleted. You can restore any email at any time. Coldblock uses a fail-open design: if classification fails for any reason, the email is left in your inbox untouched.

4. Accuracy

Coldblock aims to accurately identify cold outreach, but no filtering system is perfect. False positives (legitimate emails incorrectly flagged) and false negatives (outreach emails that slip through) may occur. You should regularly review your quarantine folder. Coldblock is not liable for missed emails or incorrectly flagged messages.

5. Data handling

Your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, share, or use your email data for advertising or any purpose other than providing the Coldblock service.

6. Service availability

Coldblock is provided “as is” without guarantees of uptime or availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use Coldblock to violate any laws, infringe on others' rights, or interfere with the service. Automated access to the service beyond normal use is prohibited.

8. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from the Settings page. We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, all your data is permanently deleted.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coldblock and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to missed emails, incorrectly classified messages, or service interruptions.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be resolved in Swedish courts.
